On November 8, 2016 I ask for your vote for Cloquet School Board. I feel that my experiences and education has prepared me to provide exceptional leadership for the students, teachers, staff, and community members that will continue to grow tomorrow’s leaders. As a father of two girls who attend the Washington Elementary and Cloquet Middle School, I know the everyday concerns the parents, teachers, and students face. I value the commitment each district employee makes that focuses on our students and the confidence the citizens of Cloquet continues to offer. Currently, the Cloquet School District is in the midst of a transition with buildings, curriculum, technology initiatives, and staff turnover. My ability to understand issues from all viewpoints and make informed decisions, while being fiscally responsible I can represent all citizens of the Cloquet School District.
I follow principles of success that I believe that brings people together. I believe that if I respect the dignity of people; trust the process of individual development; complement and recognize the efforts and actions of others; listen to understand; stand up for those who aren’t present; work together for maximum productivity; and remember what is really important- family and community. These principles that I follow will bring harmony to communities, dignity to people, and sensibility to life.
